Do you know that feeling when someone calls you in the middle of the night and asks for your opinion about something? That’s exactly what happened to me one night when I got a call from Aretha Franklin.
Believe it or not, she asked me what I thought was a better name for her album – A Woman In and Out of Love, or A Woman Falling Out of Love. I don’t know who said it first, but it’s true that sometimes the best ideas come in the middle of the night!
On the day we made this image, we played many of my favorite Aretha songs, including some from the album, A Woman Falling Out of Love.
